Title: Old Fishing Pictures!! Have you got any??
Post by: Big Steel on March 06, 2006, 02:22:32 PM: I just got back from visiting my mom in Winnipeg, and got my hands on a bunch of old pics!! Thought that I might start a thread involving Old Fishing pictures!! Got one of my Dad from 1960, fishing on his Honeymoon!! Along with a bunch of other ones through our youth!! If anyone has got some others and would like to take a stroll down memory lane, feel free to post them up. Brought back a lot of fond memories!!

The reel in the first and second picture that you see, I actually have now because my grandpa gave it to me as a gift before he passed away :)

In all the pics that I went through, about 60 years worth, and 32 years worth of pics of me, half of them I didn't remember standing infront of the camera!! ;D The other half were fishing pics, and I remembered everyone of them!!!! No wonder I am still getting out when I can today!!! ;D ;D

Post by: Lew Chater on March 19, 2006, 06:04:16 PM: This picture of me was taken in the 1953 Vedder Steelhead Derby that used to be held at the Riverside Store Resort before it burned down. I won the Junior section with this 9lb 3 oz fish and never got a picture of the Plaque with my name on it until this year. So 52 years later I got the picture of me and the Plaque at this years' Derby. The Chwk Fish & Game Club didn't even realize they had the Plaque until I found it in their trophy case. Guess this shows how long I've been on this great old river.
