Monday Destinations
« on: November 12, 2006, 11:35:45 AM »

OK - all geared up to head out tomorrow... anyone have any suggestions WHERE to head out to (from Langley)?  Is the Vedder fishable yet?  I've not fished any of the other rivers befrore, but would love to head out to one if the Ved is bad news...

the stave is dam controlled so may be your best bet for water conditions tomorrow.... we are forcast for 40 to 80 mm of rain between today and tomorrow morning.... the 80mm is predicted for the eastern fraser valley so assume that rivers like chehalis/harrison and chilliwack/vedder will be at or near flood stage once again or at the very least high and probably blown right out.

The rivers will be perfect next weekend? Where do you get that idea? Go look at the long term forecast. It calls for RAIN all week.

My destination I am looking forward to on monday is my couch!! ;D  After 2 days of fsihing in the rain, and getting into about 70+fish, I am a bit tired and need to warm up!!  But in saying that, I still might sneak out for a bit if the rain stops, or at least slows down for a bit!! ;D

I'd hit the stave... The others I saw on the North side today were in pretty bad shape.

Cheers,

Forget the Vedder. It will be quite a while before it will be fishable, steelhead season, maybe. :'(

Well I think I will be out for some sturgeon fun tomorrow morning to early afternoon. Looks to be a good tide, long and high. Looked at the weather report, looks to be about 2.5mm in the morning and 5-10mm throughout the afternoon. Might have to bring the umbrella :D
