Curiosity should not be confused with negativity.

Stu, describe the uniform, then I maybe able to answer your question.

Fishery officers in the Tidal Fraser travel in this:

The boat I saw was very similar to this one:

As for the uniform, I said: it looked like they had some kind of uniform (it could have been just the same rain jacket I didn't have my binoculars with me), and they had high vis. vests on.
It don't think it was DFO.

Don't be surprised by anything you see on the Fraser. It attracts all kinds of people there every year. One of the most accesible and crowded rivers in B.C.Any thing and every thing happens there all the time.Go to Gill rd and have a look around there if you don't believe me.

Could be a creel survey.  Take pictures and review them once back at the office for a more accurate count.  All important info in determining the numbers of fish that head for the spawning grounds.

Same with the creelers on the vedder, island 22 etc.  Give them your 5 minutes of time, it all helps in the end.

Sorry guys. It was my wife. She sent them out because I was not home in time. Those were tazer guns they had. I have only been tazered once for being late. Now I can recognize them and I put on those funny big nose glasses with the mustache. Sorry about the confusion. Like someone on here wisely said and I have kept repeating during the last half hour of fishing. It is easier to apologize than ask. I liked that one.  ;) :)
