Title: Fenwick HMG Blank

I have inherited an old fenwick HMG baitcasting-brown blank rod. the only writing on the blank is "fenwick HMG Graphite". my little research has informed me the rod was possibly from the 1980's. It appears to be a custom built rod, however the top half of the rod has a crack in it. I have contacted fenwick and they offer a lifetime warranty on the blanks but do not have any left.
so I have a couple questions.
1) is the rod worth rebuilding?
2) does anyone have or know of where I can find one of these blanks?

All I could suggest is troll around ebay and hopefully you can find a replacement section.
