I'm looking into getting a bow for hunting. Which bow were you using there?
-
PSE vendetta , cranked up to 77 lbs.
its quite a long compound bow , at 36 inches axle to axle , you may want to go to a shop and try a few...............70 lbs is quite the pull , in most cases 60 lbs is tons of shooting power.
you may want to look at the PSE bow madness , there are a few that are good hunting bows and they wont break the bank..................there around the 500-600 $ mark
when you get into the pro series bows the run upwards 700-800 $ and up (bare bones)
sight 300 $
rest 200 $
aftermarket quiver 140$
so a ready to shoot @ 500-600$ is a good deal.

Thanks for the quick reply. I looked at the Pse Bow madness series and it is a little expensive for me. I already have rifles for hunting just looking into getting a bow, try something new. What about the Pse Nova?
-
The nova is ok and will do the job..............but be prepared to shoot several hundred arrows to prepare your self for hunting.
And you will need to forget about the gun if you want to take a archery animal , i know guys that have bow hunted for years and still have not taken an animal with ther bow...........too easy to grab the gun.

Is there a better bow I can get for the same amount of money of a pse nova?
-
Good job Jim!
-
Will the pse nova take down a deer, or is it too light weight? Thansk
-
The nova is just fine................just learn your limits
-
Humper I got a PSE Nova I could sell you if you're still looking.

Could you pm me with the details?
