Selling my back up pin rod and reel. Just don't use it any more.
Rod: Fenwick HMX 10"6, 2 piece, med power, med-fast action, with up-locking reel seat. Retails for $129 + tax. This is a great rod for coho and steel head. A little light for springs and chum but still do-able. Condition 9.5/10. Only fished 10-12 times.
Reel: 4.5 inch, bearing. It is the unbranded version of the Raven Helix. Got it new off ebay for about $100 bucks after conversion from USD to CAD. It is super smooth and quiet. No nicks. Spooled up LH but can easily be switched to RH by reversing the line. Spooled up with 20lb backing and 20lb Berkley Prospec.
This is a great beginner pin set up. Would run you about $250 new for the rod and reel without line and backing. Asking $165 for the combo. Not interested in selling separately.
