where can a person find info for the fraser river tides?
-
I donot think there is any. You have to work out the difference as the tide works it way up river. In our area at the Sumas mouth we say around 4. 5 hours other may differ with that number. It also depends on the discharge rate of the Fraser I have been told.
Also others say there is tidal effect up as far as Hope but I would dispute that.

Well, around Fort Langley I think the tides are the Vancouver tide + 30 or 45 mins. I think. Up higher it might me out by an hour or so.
-
I usually clock around 3 hours from new west to mouth of sumas

I usually use this
http://www.dairiki.org/tides/monthly.php/van
and add 1 hour for Richmond, 3 hours for Mission, etc.

So Rodney, I'm kinda lazy!!!!! Do you know what the tides are doing in the morning???? ;D ;D Cause I'm going fishing a 6 in the mornig on the lower frasier for whatever will bite my hook!!!!

6am? You're not going to catch anything! ;D
I think the tide will be going out.
We went and checked the visibility this evening by the way, it looked great for spinning actually. We might try that tomorrow afternoon during the incoming tide.

What I say when people tell me that I won't catch anything is, "why, fish get lost too!?"

I have this app installed, can look at tides all over the world http://www.mdr.co.nz/

Fisheries and Oceans has info, but only as far up the river as New Westminster.
