Looking to camp one weekend on the Thompson (Spences Bridge) whenever the prime is for pinks and chinooks. I'm guessing first or second weekend of September. I am aware that the openings are not yet announced. But if it opens what time would be the best. Anyone with experience please chime in with time range or any advice when fishing for them there. Thanks.

Pink in Thompson river do not bite at most of time

when and if they open I'd guess mid to late Sept. Fishing for springs may open before pinks. Pinks will likely be quite dark

FYI, Gold Pan, just before Spences Bridge is closed right now for camping. The campground a couple of minutes up HWY 8 from Spences Bridge is open.
