You know it's a year full of small fish when we are calling 10 pounders "monsters".

It looks like a typical 3 pounder but hey, I don't want to beat a deader than dead horse by starting weight arguments. Best way is to get a fish scale, most people are shocked when they see the reading LOL  8)

The more it weighs the more great taste you get. (if taste is constant)

I have a pic of  a couple of hogs I caught a couple of weeks ago on the Campbell Quinsam system. I could send them by email to someone who knows how to post pics on this site.

I got 6 portions out of it. That's 3 meals for my wife and I (and a little for the two year old).

Yeah with two boys that are young and huge... I'll be there before you blink. The 6 month old is wearing 18 month old outfits lol, he's over 20lbs.

Oh, so I'd recommend at least a 30 lb main line for that!

I was happy getting my first today and it was only 5 pounds, as I caught it in my small local stream just a few blocks from my house.  It was wild, so I let it go.  I only had an hour before work, so it was quite pleasing.  I have more time to spend tomorrow to hunt for hatchery fish.
