What is the best cleaner for ridding roe odor? Multiple materials. Skin, rain gear, bait belt, etc...
-
I believe it’s called mirzamene or something similar to that. It’s a product you can find at MEC and works well on breathable fabric. You can soak your gear in it or wash with it I believe.

Chris Gadsden is your man to answer this question ... he is especially expert at removing old borax from fishing rods and reels. ;D

Vim on your cork and rod , then hotwater on on a rag works for me

If you really want to clean up your cork handle on your rod, wet an SOS pad and use some elbow grease.
you will be shocked how well it works!

Find a new hobby, like knitting, or scrapbooking..

Wipe down your fishing equipment after every outing and you won't have that problem.

For roe smell on skin try a
few splashes of listerene mouth wash......splash on hands rub it in and just air dry. Small travel pack size from dollar store is convenient.

Your fingers will not smell like roe if you eat garlic salt flavoured sunflour seeds while you fish. ;)
