There are fish in Brunette river. There are coho, chum and steelhead, as well as cutthroat trout, carp, stickleback, peamouth chub, and just recently largemouth bass. A few years back, a user on this board fished the Brunette and caught some good sized cutties while fly fishing.  I heard about the Brunette about 15 years ago through a children's fishing book from Daiwa Canada. Even Rodney recommends fishing the Brunette river!
