Hey I'm trying to find some pautzke bait to do some fishing over the weekend but the places i've been to have only powerbait.
So im wondering where to get some. K Thanks ;D

have you tried a few of the larger Canadian tires? I know they carry pautzke products.
Maybe Rod still has a few jars leftover from the fishing for the future event?

They are worth every penny.I have been using them for the past 30years,before they were avaliable in Canada.Used to cross the border and buy them from Bellingham by the case.Best dang single eggs for trout,PERIOD.Once u try one you'll never go back ;)

Why do I prefer Pro-Cure over Putzky?
Seems to me you need a lot more Putzky's to make the eggs cure.
But Putzky has a different scent that fish might like. :-\

Why do they come in diferent colored lids while the eggs are the same color ? The price is even higher with the diferent colored lids . The prices range from $5.99 - $7.99 .

I bought Pautzke's Green Label Balls O' Fire Salmon Eggs in Bellingham at Target about 15 years ago.
I've used it at Deer Lake a few times, but it never caught me a trout.
I went back to lures and they caught much more fish for me.

Noticed that too but it's more likely that deer lake trout are not used to salmon eggs. But chasing lures is based on instinct. It would be completely different in lakes that have a full wild ecosystem. Btw why isn't deer lake getting any love this fall. Are they planning to stock it?

Deer Lake in Burnaby will not get stocked again in 2012, only 1,600 fish in spring. Here is the stocking plan:
