What hospitable hosts the Canucks are ! They were in a benevolent mood tonight as they gave the Leafs 5 goals. Climbing up the draft table while lowering the Leafs' hopes of securing Austin Matthews. What a plan ! Executed to perfection.  ;D

But note the good young players we have now on the roster and on the Marlies, the Cup will be ours as I stated early this week. ;D ;D ;D

The Canucks body time clock was out of whack because of the 4pm start.
If the game started at 7pm pacific the Canucks would of had all cylinders firing.
Change of game start time helped the Leafs win this one  ::)

Something tells me Chris had something to do with this start time.
Excuses aside the Leafs were flying & energy & Canucks looked like they were dis interested.
"Look at me skate skate skate trying to check the Leaf player"
Reminds me of last Sunday's Super Bowl. Favourited team loses.
5-2 ouch!
Where's FA,maybe he's like to buy my Canuck tickets at a 99% dis count.

"Good young players" when you win. Overpaid, over the hill deadbeats when they lose ;D I predict a loss coming............

I'll take it if it's free in exchange for a Lions ticket.

Guess Chris is having another team meeting following their 7-2 shellacking in Chicago. Start shining those golf clubs.

Guess Chris is having another team meeting following their 7-2 shellacking in Chicago. Start shining those golf clubs.
The Hawks have a system of defence & when on offence they get the puck to the net.
2-3 players get within 3-5 feet of the goalie & bang in loose pucks.
Check out the highlights on a lot of their goals players are crowding the goalie.
Canucks skate fast but they just do not go to the net.
They are just looking for the tic tack toe perfect goal scoring play.
Lose to Chicago is expected but losing to the Wild who coming in lost 8 games.
Rebuild is another excuse. We need players like Steamer who make a dif. in their 1st NHL game.
We were just 4-5 players away from winning the Cup in the 90s.
If we had 4-5 extra character players added to the team, they would of taken game 7 in New York.
The odds are very great that we fans of our Canadian team will go to the grave & not see a Stanley Cup win.
Yet teams like the Red Wings & Chicago get multiple Cups in a league with so many teams.
The amazing part is great players leave Chicago because of $ issues. Free agent players offered big dollars nevertheless the team finds good replacements.
Sorry but very true. Odds are we guys in our 50s 60s 70s will be in our grave & still no Cup win !!! :'(

As The Vancouver Province said today, "Willie he go or Willie Stay?" Good line. ;D ;D ;D

FA, the official Canuck adviser should have an inside track on this.

What is discussed behind closed doors stay behind closed doors. The people will know in due course. The universe is unfolding as it should. The Cup is coming.

Ouch ! Chris must of got a blood transfusion from Donald Trump.
That sentence has really put an arrow in every serious Canuck fan.  ;D
Fortunately I'm only a 75% Canuck fan & 25% Canadian hockey fan of the Leafs Habs Sens Jets Oilers Flames...
Chris your post must of hit FA on top of the head like a cast iron fry pan "bang" on the noggin.
He's a 100% die hard fan of the Canucks.
I say fire the coach.
Or give him a chance...if we do not make the playoffs & win the Stanley Cup in 2016  "Your fired"

Don't Fire Willy, yet.  They should never have fired Torts. At least not that fast.
