As of 00:01 hours, May 17, 2005, the 24 hour opening and closure phone line
will be toll free for areas outside the lower mainland.
The new toll free number will be: 1-866-431-FISH (3474).
Calls within the lower mainland still phone 604-666-2828.
The 24 hour opening and closure line is available to anyone who needs
information on recreational and commercial fishing activities, including all
PSP updates. This line is updated regularly and works in conjunction with the
Fishery Notice System.
