Salmon fishing is closed I know, but is there anything that can be fished for in there presently besides sturgeon?
-
peamouth chub , pike minnow , bull trout , flounder(mouth) , greenling(mouth) those are the ones I know for sure can be caught from garry point to new west area .

Thanks!

just about any small patch of clear water at the mouth of a creek or river can have some cutthroat or bull trout present.

This time of the year bull trout fishing can be pretty good, especially downstream from the Pitt River mouth. Even when the water clarity is poor, you can still get them with lures if you don't want to use roe.

Outgoing tide just after peak has always been best for me.
