What Is Your BC Election Prediction?
« on: May 11, 2009, 05:04:13 PM »

I think it is going to be a close one and I will say,

NDP 43, Liberal 41 and Independent 1 (Vicki Huntington knocking off no comment Wally Oppal)

I can't vote Liberal, but I know it's going to be a tight one. I truly think there is enough anger with Campbell that you might be pretty close Chris. Here's an interesting website:

It's time for a change.

PS- I'm glad I'm not the only political junkie here. ;)

I say fairly small Liberal win, again with the same independent win in Delta. Libs 45, NDP 39

Unfortunately this is my prediction. I would of preferred an NDP majority but I doubt it will happen. It could of and would of happened I think if they had a different leader.

This is my very final prediction for tomorrow.

57 seats for the Liberals

27 for the NDP

1 independent (Delta South)

0 for the Greens.

STV will not get the 60% I say it will get 45-55%. I did think at one time it would pass but not so sure anymore, although CTV thinks it may now.

Make sure if you have not voted you get out and do so, no matter what party you support or whether you support STV or not.

My only question left is who will be interim NDP leader this time next week?

Does anything register with voters though?

Rise in post secondary, highest child poverty wage, lowest minimum wage, 400 million over run of convention centre, a convicted criminal drunk driver for Premier (some example he is setting) court houses closed, cuts to legal aid,  closed jails, increased homelessness etc etc

To me the NDP should be up 10-20 points over El Gordo with all the shenanagens but they are not and I would wager that has a lot to do with who is leading the NDP in this province..
