Title: Stamp River - 17lb Steelhead Today!
Post by: Murphy Sportfishing on January 27, 2015, 03:59:04 PM
Just love those high water events that bring in new fish. We were hoping the big deluge this past weekend that hit the coast would miss us and it did...but barely. We still had lots of rain with high and colored water, but it was a great weekend. Was able to duck into some of the cleaner seams that were holding fish.

The river has begun to drop again now and today was a great day for Garth and Ken from Richmond BC. They landed this 17+ pound Hatchery Steelhead from the lower Stamp River this morning along with three other nice fish. Guided by Shaun Evans. Congrats Guys! What a fish!!

See the weather report and river levels graph on our report page for current conditions and details. Note that we added a 90 day trend chart to the page so you can look back at the high water events so you can get a relative comparison to where we are at currently.

Call us anytime for the latest conditions! We enjoy helping anglers plan their trips with or without guides.
