What kind of Salmon is this?

Saw this bonked on the rocks in Squamish as I walked by but it was so chrome....so I snapped a pic.

Its a pink?

As the gap between tail fin and other fins is slender and faint trace of oval(?) dots visible in the tail fin, it is highly likely a fresh run pink salmon.
By looks of the tail area I think you could rule out coho, sockeye and spring.
Chums normally have dark edges on fins.
Definitely not a steelhead.

pink for sure. oval spots on the tail and tiny scales. super chrome fish!

That looks to me like one nice pink salmon, about as fresh as they get.
