Is the fishing season for salmon over?
« on: November 15, 2004, 10:30:38 AM »

Nothing but boots in the rivers right now.  Is there supposed to be another run off Coho arriving soon?   What can we expect from now till next year?  Sorry, new to the place.

There will still be a few bright fish trickling in but overall it's pretty much over. There should be a few early steelheads showing in Dec.

There is a late run of Coho that come up the north side of the Fraser anywhere from the 2nd week of Dec to the 3rd week of Jan. They spawn in all the tribs from the Coq. to the Har. You have to be on them right away though because the color up fast.

We are now in the tail out of Coho season.  However, you can still get some chromies in December in the Chehalis, but they're had to find.
