Monster muley that my buddy mike shot last weekend. Big buck! He scores 187. Those back tines are 11 inches long, he's 28 and 3/8ths wide and his brow tines are 7 inches

Looks real big to me, I'd be getting that head mounted if I were you.
-
why is he holidng it so far away from his body...its hard to tell how big it is..... has he had it officially scored? because that looks like a 150ish class buck.... 160 at the most. wont reach 187 for sure.
-

must be rutting, neck is huge! way to go. my brother shot a 4 point White tail in the okanogan.
-
Thomas ur guess's are wrong, sorry guys but he was scored in at 183 after the drying period.
-
well someone needs to learn how to score properly as that buck is a 150-160 class deer. It won't touch 180... not even close.
-
wasn't me who scored it, it was the taxidermist. i dont wanna get into an argument over a deer.
-
no arguement, the taxidermist is probably not an official scorer because he obviously doesnt know what he is doing. Im no pro at it either but usually i can get within 5-10'' by looking at a typical deer....
-
I second Kingpin! DEFINATLEY not a 183
-
not trying to bash yer buddies deer younggun.... it's just so easy to throw numbers out there. 183 that deer is NOT but what ever........ IT IS A VERY NICE DEER.... your buddy deserves to be proud of that one..... the score shouldn't even matter really..... I scored my deer at 152 with my inexperienced measurement taking. My drying time is up and my taxidermist..... who is an official b&c scorer..... has called to say my buck actually scores 158....... however..... you can't eat the bones, so i'm more impressed by the 156 lbs of meat that came from mine, sittin cut and wrapped in my freezer ;D
-
umm didnt get a deer this year, can i buy some? lol ;D
