Interesting link, thanks.

The challenge posed to the environmentalists is to rely on science everywhere or rely on it nowhere.

This doesn't mean a thing.
He mentions Monsanto and their GM Soya bean.
There is a lot more to Monsanto's soya than GM food.
They are actively subverting an entire farming industry into using their Soya bean with cannot be used to plant the next generation of crops. Their seeds are sterile.
But rather you have to buy the seeds from Monsanto again. They are creating dependency and persecuting anyone who is not using their soya bean.
GMO food is a lot more than just food. It's about company creating a demand (in this case dependency) and then filling that demand.
Complete BS.

Exactly!  These types of GMO foods are just a method that large corporations are using to create a monopoly. This is not healthy for any economy. From a food perspective it's probably fine.

On the other side of the coin, everybody should watch "Genetic Roulette" an award winning documentary by Jeffery Smith. Google the Institute for Responsible Technology and click on the Genetic Roulette link. The documentary is free to view until Feb 10. You will be reading food labels after you watch this.

What's striking about this, is how the GM food industry parallels the feedlot industry. Although evidence shows that they are both dangerous, industry and government  argues there is no "scientific evidence" to prove it. "They have bad science down to a science."

Could it be that both are only concerned about how they can generate profits?
