Was out yesterday at Burnaby lake for a couple of hours shooting birds. I was working on Birds in flight particularly. Here are a few:
Male Green Winged Teal

Two Male Mallards

I think I'm becoming a spring/summer trout fisherman at this rate. I just don't seem to have enough free time to get out and fish on the fall/winter weekends :( At least I have the birds to keep me happy.
Cheers!

These shots were taken with a Canon 40D. Lens was the 100-300 4.5-5.6 @ 300mm It's a new camera for me so I'm really working to excercise its strong points. (focus tracking moving objects, fast frame rate etc.)
