upper fraser report july 12

fished a popular upper fraser spot today. NADDA THING!!! fished hard for 7 hours straight, saw 4 other fishers and they too drew blanks. saw 1 spring jump way out in the middle.
River is back to nearly being in the trees and is DIRTY, logs and debris here and there and of all things to see floating down the river.... a big bloated cow. freaky  :-X

Hopefully with no rain the rest of the week it gets better for the weekend.

Just got back from Bowron Lakes and every day had rain, lots of it.  If this is happening all over the upper Fraser drainages, the water will be high for a while.  The parks folks said that they are up to 45 + straight days of high water there.  All rivers were just buldging, not quite at spring freshet, but very high.
