Title: Shawnigan Lake, May 3rd 2018
Post by: Rodney on May 04, 2018, 03:49:01 PM
We spent a day at Shawnigan Lake targeting smallmouth bass yesterday. Water temperature was 59F. Exactly this time last year, we fished the lake too and water temperature was a bit lower, and we had great results back then:

Yesterday was pretty slow. I only managed to get one nice fish on tubebait. A few other smaller fish were hooked on the fly. All the fish were caught in 10 to 15ft of water. We also tried shallower water, around float docks, deeper water (20ft), but couldn't find anything. A few more weeks perhaps. :)
