Title: Some days
Post by: koifish on August 13, 2014, 10:30:44 PM
Some days I catch fish.  But my friend does not. If I catch my limit when fishing
Example sockeye fishing
Am I allowed to hook one fish and let my. Friend reel it in and keep it?
Of course he has a fishing license so is this legal?  I dont think this is in the regs

If you hook a fish, hand the rod to your friend so he can bring it in, then he is allowed to keep that fish as part of his daily quota, as long as the fish can be retained legally.

What you cannot do is, hook a fish, bring it in, kill it, then give it to someone else because you already have retained your daily quota of fish.
