This is a small system that shouldn't be talked about on this forum. The tide part is ok to ask but can you please edit the report part.

Go early, put a marker at the rivers edge ,watch ,observe ,explore and educate yourself

Pretty close tide station to this river. Don't think you have to add or modify the time at all unless you are fishing a ways up river.

just use the crescent beach tides.... The rivers are controlled by sea dams located just south of King George Boulevard . These dams consist of gates which open when tides are low to allow fresh water to flow to Mud Bay. When tides are high, the gates prevent brackish (salt water) from migrating up the river into farm land.

Ok rjs but when the time is fully high?
So the fishing has time to pass the gate? The more good news gives me more confidence that I'm not gonna get skunked ahha

casting into 5 feet of water at the odd fish is not worth watching the tides
-
Might be a waste of time to fish that river . I would suggest heading to the vedder where the fish are plentiful.

its never a waste of time if its only less then 5mins away :D

hundreds of anglers fish that river everyday and leave empty handed except for the odd 1 or 2. .....anyways it never hurts to give it a shot.

Yes but if I took a video of what happens at my little spot you'd be all over it guaranteed
-
ya i don't doubt that. from what i'm learning every flow seems to have it's own personality.
