I was fishing the Dewdney slough just below the No 7 crossing on Monday and was "long line" releasing a chum when the tip section of my old Sage Launch 8wt rod slid right off and into the flow. It quickly sank out of reach as the tide was in, but would likely be visible or exposed at low tide. I am hoping someone may have picked it up later that afternoon as I was unable to return myself. It is gold in colour, and used belong to my dearly departed father, so would certainly like it back.

That's too bad D. The same thing happened to a friend's Sage fly rod around a decade ago. I've posted it up on our Facebook page to generate more attention.

Steven from First Light Fly and Tackle was there today but didn't see anything.

Thanks Rod, I appreciate the effort.
