Title: Powell River for Christmas. Any suggestion on fishing spots
Post by: jettabambino on December 16, 2018, 12:34:03 PM
Going to be up in POWELL River for the holidays.  I won’t have a boat but I can get into the local lakes and rivers.  Going to be taking the wife’s sedan so nothing to crazy for a ride up.  Any suggestions

Nanton lake for big cutthroats. Chuck lures at the creek mouths.

Well maintained FSR 30 kilometres east of Powell river. Free campsite. Beautiful lake. Good size Cuthroat chucking spoons at the creek mouths last time I was there several yrs ago. Want to go back. Google it for more info.
