Hey guys,,,,after reading all of these posts on pinks,,I am considering pulling out my 6 weight fly rod for the Vedder. Is this rod suitable? And yes I know,,pinks are closed there.

6 wt fly rods are the best for pinks with 6 puond tippet. i have a fenwick hmx 6 wt and it great. my buddy on the other hand uses a 3wt sage

I gather that the rod I have is sufficient,,so consider this post finished.

YUP... just keep your leader small enough, just so you snap leader or tippe,t not rod ;D
