Meh. Bleh and Blah.
In no particular order.
Each a waste.
The Harrisuck was indeed sucky as I needed to almost call the Harrison Fire Department to rescue me from being knee deep in quick sand muck or whatever swamp I stepped in attempting to circumnavigate the area from the bridge onward. Fortunately my muse was handy with 50 feet of rope and a grappling hook saving my enormous my friend. Though very few fish seen and even fewer fisheman - I believe a troll lives there stinking up the place. But many golfers abounded - a salmon caddy would have been useful in my search.
Aggasux bridge similar story minus the melodrama of quicksand but equally fishless. Why do dogs eat rocks? And even more to the point why did that family of gypsies let their dog eat rocks with all the hooks and line nearby. Charles, can you hear me? Meh.
The Cheddar at the usual suspect spots yield embarrasingly little pesches for 4 hours of effort at the lower half. Even the bb's gave up. I did connect with a red tomato which was released long line and 2 chum (pronounced with a silent "h" for halfhearted) who were doing their best impressions of tigers in the autumn years - all tooth and no snarl.
If I could be the Tempest for a time I would only call for one thing - the thing of rain.
Don't bother without a non stop downpour of at least 2 days.
Signing off.
