Title: Fraser River sockeye retention closing date

Both tidal and non-tidal portions of the Fraser River will close for sockeye salmon retention on September 6th.

It's been sad for sport last four days in non-tidal.  Has anyone been out today?  Sept 2 Friday.

Notice indicates Fraser River sockeye will remain open upstream of Vedder confluence until further notice.  Am I reading this correctly?

Sorry, my mistake by suggesting the whole section will be closed. Pretty sure you are reading it correctly but I've never done this fishery so it is best to wait for others' confirmation. ;D

not much is going on till the big boats stop fishing tomorrow i think.might be worth going above vedder by next wednesday.

Scale bar is near hope, which is upstream of chilliwack....  yes!

ya from mission CPR Bridge to the vedder retniton for sockeye is closed sept 6 the rest is open till further notice ya that tricked me to good fishin  :P

Closure of sockeye salmon retention for the rest of the Non-tidal Fraser River will start on Monday September 19th.
