If Vedder is up BEWARE of the pools

If the river is up any major amount be extra careful around the pools they dug. The rock around them isn't going to be that stable and you could slip and go off into a very deep pool without even thinking about it...wading belts would be a very good idea, staff would be smart as well..

I believe these are holes dugged up as a result of the gravel extraction.

Lower river where they did the gravel extraction...they dug deep pools, should be one directly across from the parking lot at lickman...and they are up and down the lower...they are deep..you should see them though,,,problem is if the water gets high you might not see the edges anymore...and go for a swim!!
