Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Rodney is the one who looks after that page for the FVSS will advise him to update it.
Anyone wanting a table better book it now as not many left.
Some free advertising for me as I will have Maple Leaf DNE as well as maybe a Maple Leaf Drennan or two also every type of float made. ;D
FA will be lining up at the door to get his hands on some personally signed Matthew floats. ;D ;D ;D
-
Chris is keeping the Brock Boeser autographed floats to himself. ;)
-
Dave Barnes and I have 3 tables booked. Lots of fishing tackle & product including Fly Tyibg material: hooks, feathers, animal fur, Capes, saddle, beads, 500 spools of thread etc. Dave will have custom built rods for sake plus will take orders for your dream rod to be built.
I'll have a Kingfisher CP reel, G Loomis CP rod, Fenwick 1262 glass rod, Loomis 12 ft Bar rod, Ambassador reel, Gami salmon-steelhead hooks etc.
Pass the word around.

Which G.Loomis CP rod do you have?

I'll be there as a first timer. I have a table booked and will have 3 generations of gear, from wooden reels and plugs to rods bout as early as last year. Between my dad, my father-in-law, my boys, and myself, there's quite the range of stuff I can finally get the nerve to part with!
-
I'll have my kids there selling off all manner of jigs, spinners and such. Most of my stuff will be lures I used once or sometimes not at all. Other lures will be ones that didnt pass quality control but are just fine for catching fish. I cannot attend as I am guiding that day.
-
I'll be there... Got a bunch of Islander and Shimano stuff that need to go. A couple of Rainshadow fly rods... Lots of little things, lures, spools of Maxima lines, and some stuff I just want to get rid of for free as well. :)
-
Post up when it is and where. I would like to attend and lots of fishing pals to spread the word.Thanx

Is Don Campbell expected to be there or he is done with making reels
I went to Hope in early June to give him some machining toolings. At that time he told me he would be making some cp reels for this up coming tackle sale. Unless something happens, I believe he will be there on Saturday.
-
Thank you VirtualFisher
-
My good friend and fishing buddy will be at this years sale selling his custom painted hardware.
Chillispoons Hand Painted Custom Lures - http://www.thepictaram.club/instagram/chillispoons2017
He has been creating these spoons in his basement for many years, of which we have been test running on many different water bodies.
If you are looking for proven spoons effective on just about any species or just looking for something new, come check these out.
-
Can you tell more detail about kingfisher?
-
The tackle sale ends at 12 not 1 as posted above. People will not be let in until 8 sharp so it is fair for all.
I will be getting coffee, donuts, muffins and cookies but we ask for a fair donation when you pick some up.
Thanks
I think we have around 20 tables sold so should be a good sale.
-
Here are some of the main items I'm bringing to my table on Saturday.
Shimano Clarus spinning rod
Shimano CSC-96M2B 9’6” baitcasting rod
Rainshadow 9’6” 6wt fly rod
Rainshadow 9’ 4wt fly rod
Trophy XL 9’ centerpin rod
Shimano Citica low profile baitcasting reel
Shimano Sahara 3000 spinning reel
Islander LX 3.6 fly reel + Rio multi-tip line
Islander 3.2 fly reel
Islander MR3 mooching reel
Islander IS centerpin reel

I'll be there with quite a bit of newer and older gear:
Hardy St.Aidan reel with spare spool
Nottingham style wooden reel
Al Minser Lucky Louie wooden plugs, and some by Martin
Lots of old and new lures.
Polar bear hair.
Rods, reels, lures, fly tying equipment and materials.
Looks like between all the tables, Christmas shopping can be done early!
-
Don Campbell has got 8 reels he made for this event, plus some very high end fly rods and reels for sale.
-
Thanks Nosey. I saw Don and spoke with him. He is a very nice guy .Was a bit surprised that his reels except one weren't sold within 15 minutes that I spent there
;).
-
Even I bought one of Don's reels and I don't fish ???
Fewer people this year for sure.
-
Had a great morning at the tackle sale. It was great to meet a lot of you in person, as well as Chillispoons, Don Campbell, the Toth kids, and a host of others. Sold some stuff, bought some stuff, as well as heard some great stories.
A hearty thanks to all who stopped by my table, and a special thanks to all who made this event possible. ;D
-
Great event. Much bigger then the last time I attended a few yrs ago when it was in the church. Got a sweet deal on a Islander cp reel from Mr Gadsden. Was very impressed with all the top quality stuff for sale. Hope this event keeps on trucking.

The Master's reel, it will catch you many fish seeing his hands were on that reel. Thanks to all that bought my floats but still have a thousand or more left for next year and beyond.

Any suggestion for next year welcome.

Obie was that you and your lovely wife who gave me the Stewart lures? If so Nice chatting with you two today.
-
Yeah that was us. We really enjoyed talking with you. Good times. It's things like today that bring me back to what the fishing community's really about.
-
Yes I agree these types of events bring a lot more than just buying and selling gear. The community feel is great and getting to know people on a personal level is even better.

Yes that is why the FVSS puts it on and of course so people can get good deals on my A M floats. ;D ;D Some people picked some up that are close to 50 years old.
