Vedder Seal
« on: October 07, 2011, 08:04:14 PM »

Saw a seal in the Vedder this morning, maybe that's why I caught nothing he scared them away from me  ::) but did get some nice floats including a Maple Leaf Drennan. ;D This could be my problem of late, too much time chasing floats, picking up garbage, filming others catching fish  and visiting as many people stop by to chat but that always fun exchanging fish stories. The Carp even offered me a coffee too ;D but still had some in the Tim Horton mug, thanks for the offer Steve.

Back to the seal story. Yesterday while in Dart and Tackle I was speaking to Doc and he said he fouled hooked a nearly expired male pink \. As it brought it to shore a seal came up and took it off his hook. One wonders why they would go after a fish in such poor condition. At least Doc did not have to do the releasing. ;D

This is seal, real story too. ;D ;D

Coho fishing was hot and all of a sudden three seals showed up and it died right off. One took a chinook off my line :P
