Title: Mackinaw?
Post by: druid on May 03, 2006, 09:58:51 AM
While searching for the Cultus Lake Pikeminnow Derby, I came across the Cultus Lake Resort Derby. They say "the lake is plentiful with Rainbows, Bass, Mackinaws and Browns" (not that I believe that!) I've never heard of a "Mackinaw"- what is it? Is it a "game fish" here in BC (don't remember seeing it in the Regs...)? Are they worth targetting?

EDIT: I now see that this is Cultus Lake OREGON! (The mention of Bass shoujld have clued me in... ;) ) But the question still stands: what the heck is a Mackinaw? And do we have them round here?
