Title: looking for an illustrator for my next book
Post by: Rp3Flyfisher on March 20, 2008, 11:49:51 PM
I am looking for someone that is good at drawing. If you are or know of someone that is Very good at drawing illustrations please contact me.
I am not sure what kind of pay there will be, that is something I will talk to the right person about. Maybe a cash payment, maybe a percentage of book sales, or maybe just a cover and inside the book Credit.

This would be great for a collage  student or someone that just likes to draw.

My next book is almost completed but I need the illustrations to go with the pictures and descriptions.

If you or someone you know are interested, please e-mail me or call

When I've been in need I would post the request at Emily Carr, you get tons of variety, the cost is min to zip and published work is great for their portfolio. The other bonus to them is experience dealing in the real world of commercial art.

I might be able to help you out. I sometimes sketch in my free time and when I do its usually pictures of fish. Can you give me a little more info on what your looking for ie number of illustrations, quality, type of coloring etc. I'll let you know if I can be of help.

Here's a pic of one of my sketches...sorry its so dark, I don't own a scanner so its a photograph...
