I also dont want to spend as much money this year not just on fishing gear but everything. I will however buy a kicker and side panels for my boat but other than that nothing other than stuff I absolutley need.

I want to quit smoking for good.

Fish more still waters.

Fish more on the fly.

Meet new fishing friends and take them out on my boat.

I used zyban. I tried the patch and cold turkey before but with zyban it has been easy. Even being around people that smoke has not been a problem the smoke now really stinks and makes you fell sick.

A friend of mine said the same about Zyban.  I'm gonna try cold turkey and if that doesn't work I'll try Zyban or an herbal product called Zero Nicotine.  Info can be found here http://www.quitsmoking.com/ (http://www.quitsmoking.com/)

Another one you might want to look at is, and I am not sure this is spelled right, but I think it is Wel-beutrin.  That is probably the wrong spelling.  But I am pretty sure that Flyguy will come on here and correct me.  He was the one that told me about it.  It is also covered under most medical plans.  Zyban isn't.  This stuff is exactly the same as Zyban, just a different name on it. :)

Yes both medications work the same. In fact they are the same except that wel-beautrin is the generic form of zyban. Extended plans just have not caught on to this. Zyban will run you $68 a month for three months. Small price to pay for your health. If you can get a doctor to give you a perscription for the other then do it because you will get money back from your extended medical plan.

I quit on Dec 10th 2005 I just used Nicorette gum :)
I used Zyban the first time I quit, it helped but it also made me depressed and paranoid , not the best side effects to have !

Depressed? Zyban is a antidepressant. It sure made me happy. I call them my happy pills. When I tried to stop cold turkey my wife said that I was a complete ahole. I do know people that did stop smoking by using nicorette but they have been using nicorette for 8 years now.

Yeah it is an anti-depressent , I talked to my doc about it and he told me that if you aren't depressed it can have the opposite effect  :o  weird
