today we gots to the river round 9:00am. hit up the cable pool and found it empty of other fishers. tossed in some candy roe and tried a few blades and nothin. talked to a guy later that said he saw one get caught around first light at the cable. hit up a few other choice spots and nothin. called er a day at noon. river is still high and fast, we just need a push of ho's to come sneakin in and a foot lower flow just to slow er down some.
