Catches I'm proud of?
I still remember my family summer trip to Manitoba when I was young. My Dad took me out fishing on the Red River in Manitoba in search of a catfish. I landed a 15 pound catfish on that trip and will never forget that experience as long as I live.
I have a picture of myself with that fish ( my arms shaking as I struggle to hold it up). I have caught my share of larger fish since but I don't think anything will ever seem as big as that "gigantic monster" I pulled out of that river at a young age! ;)
Now a father myself, I hope to watch my daughter experience her first "life and death" struggle on one of our beautiful rivers this summer!
