OPINIONS PLEASE
« on: September 22, 2004, 10:21:30 AM »

If anyone has or knows of the PORTA-BOTE I would appreciate some opinions on:
1. Overall satisfaction
2. Stability in wind
3. Stability while standing and fly casting

and any other info. you have.

Saw a funny video once where the guy was opening his port-a-boat, slipped and fell in.  The boat folded up around him like a venus fly trap.

Don't be the next victim ;D

I bought a used 1979 - 10'model. It came with a 2hp Evinrude.
Storability and portability were the main reasons for my purchase.
It is great for small lakes and stable enough to stand and cast in. If I had more storage space I would buy another one with a  newer square tail model.
