moving to thitis island

Thitis is 1hour north of victoria in the stuart channel
Im moving to thitis island in a week and i was wondering what the fishing was like there?

Are there any crabs out in that part of the ocean?

I believe you mean Thetis Island.
It's tiny place typical of the Gulf Islands-totally dependent on BC Ferries for it's existence.Locals survive mostly on Kraft Dinner, Deer meat (usually poached) , make their own booze and grow their own dope.
There are a number of websites on the place-none of distinction.
Salmon fishing in that area is poor to bad and Bottomfish are mostly closed or extinct.
Crabs-lots around-what kind of boat do you have.
Always guard against thieves which are endemic on the water.

I have a 17.5 welded aluminum boat
The motor is a 90 hp jonson oceanrunner
Crabs are good eating
