Title: Vedder Oct 27
Post by: 2:40 on October 27, 2004, 09:28:14 PM
Snuck out to the lower river this evening to watch the moon come up and hopefully watch my float go down.

Both things happened in the same quantity.  One moon came up, one float went down.  While the moon slowly started to look like a 'boot', my fish, about a 6 lb wild buck remained nice and shiny and I put him back in the river.

One of those rare 'last cast' fish.  Fresh fish in the river.  Lots of dogs though.  Beautiful evening! Cool moon!  Gonna pop out and take a look now.

Fished the Lickman area late in the day. Low, clear water. Lots of chum, some are fresh; very few springs; no coho.
We need a few inches of rain.

mainly darker springs/chum upper river - did not see one coho caught all day.
