Where does everyone get their wood chips from?

Personally I am a carpenter so i have a somewhat easy access to oak, cherry, maple, etc, but I do have a hard time finding Alder which i am currently on the hunt for

we have and alder tree on the farm here so i have a good supply

anyone else know where i can find some alder chips?  canadian liar always seems to be sold out or not have them
