I propose we make a game of it.  Every time the river passes another line on the graph (10cm), take a drink.  The Vedder Crossing graph is currently just above 2.3m.  I'm afraid I got a bit of a head start, so I'll let you guys catch up.  I think it will hit at least 2.6 tonight.  Shall we also place bets on what time and what height the river will crest at?

You win....river peaked at just above 2.6m

Currently has dropped to just below 2.5m...... which is still pretty much 1m above what it was the day before !!!

Still supposed to get another big rainfall tonight too....  :o

There should still be fishing you can do. Other rivers & streams come into fishable shape sooner. You could even a trip into the interior. Lake fishing can be excellent at this time!

The rain is now on, was surprised to see snow on the mountains this AM. Float hunting was good as found 50 plus.

This will give me some to sell at the FVSS tackle sale, here in Chilliwack on Nov.19

Rodney will have more on the sale shortly if you want to book a table.

The river cleaned up nicely this evening more than I thought it would, picked up a hatchery coho salmon and missed a few too a few more floats as well this afternoon, I think I got 60 today. :D A good number of DNE with some Drennan and Fred's.

I think the drop in the freezing level last night helped clean the river up

No rain at present and there was blue sky when I walked home at 6 PM.

For tomorrow, depends what happens tonight of course.

Will not be able to give you a report until 10, no fancy phone, just a old flip phone. ;D
