  • Fish on baby!

Left at 1:30 today. The fishing was amazing! The water was getting a little color to it but good visibility. Landed my biggest spring ever today about 26 lbs. landed 2 other springs and took home a nice 9 or 10 lb coho. Hooked and lost some other cohos too.

Graph looks like its stabilizing/starting to slant down. Doesn't say it will be too too bad overnight or the morning in terms of rain. Who knows.

Now it looks like the lower river is cresting just a hair above the last crest from last weekend - and I'm sure we'll have a higher crest tomorrow or Sunday.  Looks like this weekend is probably shot.

river has risen and is has a nicely colored milk tea look. Some guys still trying to cross certain sections chest high. Not a good idea in these conditions.  :o

  • We need longer weekends...when fishing is good

No fish is worth a life ....

True, but Darwin's theory still applies! ;)
Rain seems to be slowing down a bit. How do you guys think the river will look like tomorrow morning?

There's still more rain expected. Even if it stops it's going to take more than a day to clear up.
