Christmas presents...

Need help with some ideas for christmas presents for my 10 year old son...something fishy (I think he has more fishing gear now than I do!)

Is there such a thing as 'kid sized' multi tool?
It can be used fishing and for lots of other things.

I think you and your son should both get a fly setup for xmas. You would be amazed at the differance and the new challenges that await you.

Your son is about 10 if I remember correctly.  Get him a 5/6wt fly rod.  Pinks are in next year and he'll have a hoot.   Start with a medium action rod it will be more forgiving to the begining fly chucker.  You should be able to get a deal from your freind ;)  He should be convinced to provide lessons too 8)  I've got my wife convinced to buy me two bar fishing rods for my B'day or Christmas (close together).

He already has a pellet gun, .22, .410 and my old 30-30 ( not shooting it yet!) and loves going grouse hunting with me....

try flyfishing and soon you will discover a whole new world to sport fishing ;D i just tried it myself and was impressed with the action with a fish on.bada bing im hooked

My favorite Xmas movie.  I love Darren Mcgavin as the dad.  And the lamp.  Do you know where I can get one ;D

I am sure there is such thing as a kids multitool, but I have not seen one. The [url]Leatherman Juice would probably be a good choice as it is compact and retails for under $100.
