Need help with some ideas for christmas presents for my 10 year old son...something fishy (I think he has more fishing gear now than I do!)

It can be used fishing and for lots of other things.

I think you and your son should both get a fly setup for xmas. You would be amazed at the differance and the new challenges that await you.

Your son is about 10 if I remember correctly.  Get him a 5/6wt fly rod.  Pinks are in next year and he'll have a hoot.   Start with a medium action rod it will be more forgiving to the begining fly chucker.  You should be able to get a deal from your freind   He should be convinced to provide lessons too   I've got my wife convinced to buy me two bar fishing rods for my B'day or Christmas (close together).

He already has a pellet gun, .22, .410 and my old 30-30 ( not shooting it yet!) and loves going grouse hunting with me....

try flyfishing and soon you will discover a whole new world to sport fishing i just tried it myself and was impressed with the action with a fish on.bada bing im hooked

I am sure there is such thing as a kids multitool, but I have not seen one. The [url]Leatherman Juice would probably be a good choice as it is compact and retails for under $100.
