Looking for info on coho retention from upper Pitt River. Planning my fall trips and am thinking of a guided trip on upper Pitt but i also want a few fish to eat. Salmon Supplement (from what i can find) only mentions no fishing for chinook. Thanks.

Pretty sure there’s no coho bonking

Yah. Now that i think about it, only hatchery in Region 2 can be retained. Thanks.

Actually not even that. The default limit for Region 2 is zero, so unless there is retention specified in the synopsis for a particular water, you cant keep any, even hatchery clipped.
Also there are actually a few waters listed in the synopsis where coho may be retained if not hatchery.

I cant name one area in region 2 where you can retain a single wild Coho.

There's a few in the synopsis that permit retention with no requirement of hatchery marking, if you read it carefully.

Not in the LM portion of region 2.

Only in selected areas tidal synopsis.

There are indeed two lakes and one creek in Region 2 of the Freshwater Supplement where retention of “wild” coho is allowed (no reference to “hatchery” or “marked” in the quota). None of them, however, are in the Lower Mainland portion of Region 2.

There is no salmon or bull trout retention on the Pitt ever...period.
