Very nice. I like the porcupine quill idea.

Nice but i would not fish with them! Can you imagine how many fishermen would drown trying to save one of those after they break off and lunge after one as it floats away ????

the best floats are the locally made Fred B cork floats.

Whonnock Joe makes some really nice cork floats as well. They were featured in last years center pin calendar. It is now the only float that I use. I was lucky enough to have been shown how he makes them.

Those are gorgeous!
How much does one of those cost :o
Almost be fun to take up a hobby like that!

Just a matter of time before they wind up in Chris' float collection.

WoW! those are definitely high end floats lol. Just amazing

They are nice floats, but if you lose one on a snag, it is heart breaking. Better to keep them as an ornamental piece. Yes, Whonnock Joe's floats are the best I have used so far.

That guy is a real craftsman-something about his work reminds me of Pysanky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pysanka)

way too nice to fish with

That's much more art than fishing gear....I know a couple fly fisherman who'd buy them just to hang on the wall next to their cane rods (which also rarely see day light).
