How Many Takes To Land A Chinook Jack

On a recent trip to the Thompson tried to hook and land a chinook jack with camera in hand.  ;D Here is part 1.

Great job, what time of day was this Chris? I was only able to land one fish with the sun on the water last time. All of my fish landed came in the morning or before the sun went down.

Time to mount that video camera to your Maple leaf hat so you can set the hook properly when filming. ;D

Yes it is better most of the time like you state but near the end of the season they were there in the thousands but of course had trouble landing them, using second hand hooks may have been the problem. ;D :-[

 Better get part 3 up. ;D

Some times its hard to tell butif you hold back a bit, keep line tight you can feel them tug, they take it softly sometimes too, very good bait helps most of time. Part 3 shortly. ;D
