The river is still high, but the visibility is excellent.
Lots of good water to fish has opened up since yesterday - for just about every technique.

Water lovely this AM but heavy rain now.

Nothing but chum and more chum in the Chum run.

Water of course is in prime shape except the NE wind is making it a cool experience for the few people out there, getting ready for the steelhead season I guess.

Cold out there. But I found a very silver coho in very short time mid day when I finally got away.

Spoke to Mrs.  Peterson who does the Creel surveys and her counts for Saturday were 47anglers =4 coho retained,7chums retained,3wild coho released. She was working an 8 hour shift from Tamahi to Vedder crossing. I spoke with her around 1:30pm.

fish take holidays too so no more fish in the vedder or any other stream for that matter.
